A classic style in a gorgeous, autumnal color!
I just love the brim line on this cloche because it frames the wearer's face so beautifully! The rust-colored straw is so unusual and sophisticated, too, and while straw is normally a summer hat material, I think this rich color means that you can wear this one in cooler weather when you just need some stylish sun protection. I've added a neutral black and white ribbon band with tails that extend down one side of the brim and wrap under its edge, plus a funky ornament made from a cockade of the same ribbon and some intriguing black and white twisted straw ornaments that date at least to the 1920's, if not earlier.
Blocked on a 23-inch hat block, this hat will best fit a head that size. If you have any questions about sizing or how to measure your head, please don't hesitate to ask!

How do I care for and store my new hat?
I'm so glad you asked! Avoid wearing a straw hat in wet weather because it will quickly lose its shape in the rain. You may also find that some dyed straws' colors will run when wet.
Avoid getting fabric trims like silk flowers, ribbon ornaments and veils wet as these can still look droopy even after they dry again.
If a felt hat becomes wet, stuff it loosely with tissue before allowing it to dry. If your felt looks dull or dusty, you can use a bristle brush to brush up the nap again.
To store, stuff your hat loosely with tissue paper to hold its shape, and put it in its hat box away from dust and sunlight. Never hang a hat or keep it on a stand or its shape could become distorted over time.
