What a cutie this one is! Crafted from a fancy woven straw in a luscious honey sort of shade that will go with almost everything, this is the perfect little hat to pop on and elevate your outfit for warm weather outdoor events or even just running to the farmer's market. I've accented it with a little layered flower composed of coordinating straws and a handmade wheat straw rosette to keep things simple. Blocked on a 22-1/2 inch hat block, this hat will best fit a head that size though there is a bit of wiggle room there given the open weave of the straw. I like a hat in your shop but would prefer it had a different trim. Can you swap out the trim on an existing hat for me?

How do I care for and store my new hat?
I'm so glad you asked! Avoid wearing a straw hat in wet weather because it will quickly lose its shape in the rain. You may also find that some dyed straws' colors will run when wet.
Avoid getting fabric trims like silk flowers, ribbon ornaments and veils wet as these can still look droopy even after they dry again.
If a felt hat becomes wet, stuff it loosely with tissue before allowing it to dry. If your felt looks dull or dusty, you can use a bristle brush to brush up the nap again.
To store, stuff your hat loosely with tissue paper to hold its shape, and put it in its hat box away from dust and sunlight. Never hang a hat or keep it on a stand or its shape could become distorted over time.
