This is 1940's-inspired elegance at its best! Blocked in a gorgeous, rich shade of turquoise velour felt, this fabulous hat sports an asymmetrical brim that you can--and should!--exaggerate further by tilting it off to one side. The simple ribbon trim invites the addition of a special brooch if you need some extra sparkle but really stands on its own with no additional trim necessary.
This hat was blocked on a hat block with a 22-1/2 inch circumference and will best fit a head that size, a modern size medium. If you have any sizing questions, please don't hesitate to ask!

How do I care for and store my new hat?
I'm so glad you asked! Avoid wearing a straw hat in wet weather because it will quickly lose its shape in the rain. You may also find that some dyed straws' colors will run when wet.
Avoid getting fabric trims like silk flowers, ribbon ornaments and veils wet as these can still look droopy even after they dry again.
If a felt hat becomes wet, stuff it loosely with tissue before allowing it to dry. If your felt looks dull or dusty, you can use a bristle brush to brush up the nap again.
To store, stuff your hat loosely with tissue paper to hold its shape, and put it in its hat box away from dust and sunlight. Never hang a hat or keep it on a stand or its shape could become distorted over time.
