Crafted from sumptuous silk abaca fabric, this lovely turban-style head wrap has such luscious drape and a subtle sheen. I've opted not to embellish the gorgeous twists and folds with anything further but you might choose to give it a vintage feel by tucking in a silk flower or two or pinning on a brooch. It's so easy to wear, too! You can leave your hair down like you're wearing a headband, or pin it up into an elegant chignon so all the focus is on your lovely face.
This head wrap is a bit flexible in size given the nature of the material and where you choose to place it on your head. I'd put it in the 22-1/2 to 23-1/2 inch size range. I've added a small metal comb at center front for added security but the silk abaca itself is a bit grippy on hair and should feel quite stable when worn.

I like a hat in your shop but would prefer it had a different trim. Can you swap out the trim on an existing hat for me?

How do I care for and store my new hat?
I'm so glad you asked! Avoid wearing a straw hat in wet weather because it will quickly lose its shape in the rain. You may also find that some dyed straws' colors will run when wet.
Avoid getting fabric trims like silk flowers, ribbon ornaments and veils wet as these can still look droopy even after they dry again.
If a felt hat becomes wet, stuff it loosely with tissue before allowing it to dry. If your felt looks dull or dusty, you can use a bristle brush to brush up the nap again.
To store, stuff your hat loosely with tissue paper to hold its shape, and put it in its hat box away from dust and sunlight. Never hang a hat or keep it on a stand or its shape could become distorted over time.
