A gorgeously summery topper, this little perching hat is a delight to wear! The parasisal straw button base in a rich yellow color is overlaid with cream cotton floral lace and accented with a sculpted "bow" of the same straw plus some soft loops of yellow crinoline. Just the right thing to wear when both the weather and your mood are sunny!
This hat is secured to the head with a loop of millinery elastic to match your hair color. Please specify your color choice in the "notes to seller" box at checkout. I have white, gray, black, dark and light brown, and blonde available.

I like a hat in your shop but would prefer it had a different trim. Can you swap out the trim on an existing hat for me?
In some cases I can do this and in some cases I can't. Please don't hesitate to ask and we can discuss it!
How do I care for and store my new hat?
I'm so glad you asked! Avoid wearing a straw hat in wet weather because it will quickly lose its shape in the rain. You may also find that some dyed straws' colors will run when wet.
Avoid getting fabric trims like silk flowers, ribbon ornaments and veils wet as these can still look droopy even after they dry again.
If a felt hat becomes wet, stuff it loosely with tissue before allowing it to dry. If your felt looks dull or dusty, you can use a bristle brush to brush up the nap again.
To store, stuff your hat loosely with tissue paper to hold its shape, and put it in its hat box away from dust and sunlight. Never hang a hat or keep it on a stand or its shape could become distorted over time.
