Fuchsia pink velour felt toque with navy veiling and spiky feather pompom
This daring, hand-sculpted fuchsia velour felt toque will certainly catch everyone's attention! It is embellished with a curl of the same velour felt under which is nestled a spiky, navy blue feather pompom. This hat is draped generously with navy blue veiling which can be worn up as in the first photos, or pulled down to below-the-nose length as in the last photo. This hat also has a gathered, blue silk lining inside.
This beauty was shaped on a 23-inch hat block and fits well on a 23-inch head. You may prefer to have a hat elastic added for extra security, though, which I'd be happy to add if you request it. Just specify a hat elastic that approximates your hair color in the notes to seller box during checkout. Dark brown, light brown, pale tea-dyed blonde, black, gray and white elastics are available.

I like a hat in your shop but would prefer it had a different trim. Can you swap out the trim on an existing hat for me?
In some cases I can do this and in some cases I can't. Please don't hesitate to ask and we can discuss it!
How do I care for and store my new hat?
I'm so glad you asked! Avoid wearing a straw hat in wet weather because it will quickly lose its shape in the rain. You may also find that some dyed straws' colors will run when wet.
Avoid getting fabric trims like silk flowers, ribbon ornaments and veils wet as these can still look droopy even after they dry again.
If a felt hat becomes wet, stuff it loosely with tissue before allowing it to dry. If your felt looks dull or dusty, you can use a bristle brush to brush up the nap again.
To store, stuff your hat loosely with tissue paper to hold its shape, and put it in its hat box away from dust and sunlight. Never hang a hat or keep it on a stand or its shape could become distorted over time.
