This fetching little velour felt hat works well for both day and evening cold-weather wear. The hand-blocked forest green velour felt creates a jaunty little base for subtly contrasting teal green leaf shapes that enclose five freshwater black pearl "berries." Are they holly leaves? Some sort of succulent? You can decide. Either way, this hat will look fabulous on you at your next wintertime soirée!
Finished inside with an olive-green petersham ribbon, this hat is designed to be worn perched on the left side of your head but you can, of course, wear it any way you please. It is secured to the head with comfortable millinery elastic, and you can specify the color which most closely approximates your hair color in the "notes to seller" box at checkout. Dark brown, light brown, pale tea-dyed blonde, black, gray and white are available.

I'm so glad you asked! Avoid wearing a straw hat in wet weather because it will quickly lose its shape in the rain. You may also find that some dyed straws' colors will run when wet.
Avoid getting fabric trims like silk flowers, ribbon ornaments and veils wet as these can still look droopy even after they dry again.
If a felt hat becomes wet, stuff it loosely with tissue before allowing it to dry. If your felt looks dull or dusty, you can use a bristle brush to brush up the nap again.
To store, stuff your hat loosely with tissue paper to hold its shape, and put it in its hat box away from dust and sunlight. Never hang a hat or keep it on a stand or its shape could become distorted over time.
